Unmasking the gods: What is Consensus Unreality?

We are celebrating 5 years of Consensus Unreality this summer, and we thought it might be good to frame the show once again for people who haven't been keeping up, or have never heard. (Don't worry, if you have been keeping up, its still worth a listen!) We are a podcast first and foremost, although we now have an ongoing print material project on our Patreon which includes our quarterly Journal of Shells and other recorded and printed materials. On the podcast we try to unearth new connections between things esoteric, mythological, occult, highly strange and fringe in cultural nature. In this episode hear us elaborate on some of that process and what we think separates us a bit from the crowd. We'll have more interviews and public episodes streaming soon, but the bulk of our work, strange magickal dabbling, writing and talking- goes down on Patreon.

Humble Messengers; A Channeling Saga: Part 1

In this episode we open up conversation about the work of researchers and experimental channelers Don Elkins and Carla Rueckert. Best known for their legendary channelings of The Ra Material, the duo have a rich history of building out mythologies and generating synergistic narratives which are still strongly permeating the field today. The Groups dynamic and interpersonal connections create a checkered backstory which we are starting to unravel in this episode. We focus on early works by Elkins and Rueckert and try to place actual inspirations in their work against alleged conspiracies found in media. Follow along as we take a look at the strange mid-century channelings that lead to The Law of One and the influence of Rueckert and Elkins on the current spectrum of the UFO reality.
